Hannah Van Hove (Chair) lives and works in Brussels. She completed a PhD on the work of Anna Kavan, Alexander Trocchi and Ann Quin at the University of Glasgow in 2017.
Alice Hill-Woods is a PhD researcher at the University of Bristol, and has published an article on Anna Kavan's ecologies of trauma in the Journal of Literature and Trauma Studies. She is the author of HOTHOUSE (Salo Press, 2021), and co-edited This is not a biography* (Yellow Paper Press, 2023).
Victoria Walker completed her PhD on Anna Kavan in 2012 and was Chair of the Society from 2010-2020. Her monograph Anna Kavan: Mid-Century Experimental Fiction was published in 2023.
Rose Knox-Peebles (née Latch) is a writer, art collector and model who was one of Anna Kavan's close friends. She is a trustee of the arts charity Outside In, which works to create a fairer and more inclusive art world.
Jennifer Sturm is a writer and researcher. Her book Anna Kavan's New Zealand: A Pacific interlude in a turbulent life was published in 2009.

The first Anna Kavan Symposium took place in 2014 at the Institute of English Studies in London. For news of forthcoming events, please sign up to join the Society.
